Smile in day/ All on 4 Implant

Teeth in a day’ is a method of dental implants treatment that allows a patient to get a full fixed set of upper teeth on dental implants in around six hours.

The revolutionary All on 4 treatment (sometimes called “teeth in a day” or “same day teeth”) involves fitting natural-looking replacement teeth using dental implants in a one-day procedure. Walk in at 8 am and leave at 4 pm with a solid set of functional and beautiful teeth.

If you have loose or missing teeth, wear dentures or have to avoid eating certain foods, our Same Day Teeth implant treatment will transform your life. This treatment can offer patients a full arch or both arches of fixed replacement teeth in a one-day procedure. The placement of four to six dental implants at strategic positions and angles provide the foundation upon which a set of bespoke handcrafted teeth are fitted.

All on 4 treatment can work even when there is only a little bone available because it utilises angled implant components so that implants can be placed where the bone is available. An advanced connection system allows us to create a strong durable bridge that can last for many years in excellent condition without the need to replace it with a new one a few months later.

Aftercare

Pain is surprisingly low after treatment and usually well controlled with standard painkillers. This usually goes after 3-4 days. Some patients experience a higher level or longer period of pain and require stronger painkillers and more rest. Swelling is usually controlled with medications, but again, some patients experience swelling which lasts for about 1-2 weeks.

FAQs

If you are suffering from loose dentures or if you are losing teeth and wish to have a fixed set of teeth, then this could be the best option for you. This is not the only implant option but can be the optimum treatment if you want to have treatment completed in a single day without the need for further lengthy appointments with multiple steps. It also works very well in low bone availability (subject to careful examination).
We undergo a thorough consultation process that involves understanding your needs, lifestyle and ability to maintain the treatment before we proceed. Sometimes, other implant-based options (such as dentures on implants) are better and sometimes implants are not the right thing for you.
Most medical conditions do not prevent us from providing dental implants to patients. In fact, sometimes the benefit of being able to eat and speak normally contributes positively to a person’s health. However, there are some medical conditions that must be carefully managed when providing treatment and some situations where dental implants are not possible.
Age is not a contra-indication to implant surgery and dentistry. However, when we meet with you we take into consideration your lifestyle and life circumstances and advise you on the best option that will take you through to later life. There are a few medical conditions that require special attention.
Unlike other parts of dentistry, implant dentistry involves working with healthy tissues only, this means tissues are able to adapt and heal very quickly, resulting in a painless experience.
